At Chassis Clean, our days are spent blasting undersides, painting them, and applying multiple layers of heavy-duty rust protective coatings. Like any restoration work, the prep is the most important stage; we have to mask off sensitive areas like brake lines, wiring looms, threads, and clean bodywork.
 
We've tried loads of different brands of masking tape, different sizes, and even storing it at different temperatures, but none of them seemed to stick, and when it would, it would often peel off overnight or lift at the edges mid-job.
