From classic restorations to modern performance and everyday vehicles, we show the condition we start with, the preparation work carried out, and the long-term protection applied.
Toyota Supra Mk3
This rare Toyota Supra Mk3 came to us with a solid, honest underside that deserved careful preservation. We fully stripped and cleaned the underside, then carried out blasting and surface preparation before applying fresh rust protection and durable protective coatings to keep it clean and protected long term.
VOLVO 850R
This performance Volvo arrived with aged underbody coatings and contamination.
We stripped it back to gain full access, then used dry ice blasting to safely remove the old layers and reveal clean metal.
Once prepared, we applied a fresh protective coating to keep the underside protected for years to come.
Opel Kadett C-GTE
This 1978 Opel Kadett C-GTE came in for a full underbody restoration. We dry ice blasted the underside to remove old coatings, grime and contamination safely, then applied fresh protective treatment to help preserve the chassis for future use and long-term storage.
Saab 9-5 Estate
This Saab 9-5 Estate received a full underbody restoration focused on long-term preservation. The chassis was stripped and blasted back to bare steel to expose and treat corrosion properly, before the underside was sealed with premium protective coatings and zinc-based anti-corrosion chassis paint.
Vauxhall VXR8 (Holden)
This Australian V8 icon arrived for a full chassis restoration. We stripped the underbody and used glass-bead media blasting to give us a clean base. We applied a high-zinc rust protection system and technical cavity waxes, ensuring this rare import is fully shielded against the Scottish climate and ready for the road.
Mazda MX5 (2012)
A structurally sound but tired MX-5 underskirt needed attention. We deep cleaned the sills and box sections using glass-bead blasting to remove trapped salt and grime. A full application of internal cavity wax and external protective coatings, equipping this classic roadster for many more damp Scottish drives.
Toyota Rav-4
This rugged RAV4 required a robust cleaning process before protection. We used Glass Bead Blasting to strip back surface corrosion and build-up from the structural rails and floor pans. After preparation, we applied a comprehensive, multi-layer coating system to lock out moisture and future-proof this 4x4.
Jaguar F-Type
This Jaguar F-Type came to us with road dirt and contamination built up across the underside. We carefully dry ice blasted the chassis and suspension components to clean them safely without water or abrasion, then applied fresh protective coating to help preserve the underside against future corrosion.
Ford Transit Van
This Transit underwent full underside restoration using media blasting to remove corrosion and heavy build-up. Once cleaned back to a solid base, the surface was treated with a durable protective coating to prevent future corrosion and extend the vehicle’s lifespan.
BMW E46
This AC Schnitzer kitted BMW E46 330i Tourer came in for preventative rust proofing. After deep cleaning the underside, we treated early corrosion in known E46 problem areas, including the chassis and rear floor sections, before applying protective coatings to help prevent further deterioration.
Skoda Superb
This Skoda Superb came in for full underbody cleaning and rust protection. The chassis was thoroughly cleaned and treated to stop corrosion progressing, before being finished with fresh protective coatings for long-term use on Scottish roads.
Ford Ranger
We used Glass Bead Blasting to remove road dirt and surface corrosion from the chassis and vulnerable load bed supports. Once cleaned back to a solid base, the surface was treated and sealed with a durable protective coating, ensuring this truck is ready for demanding Scottish weather and heavy use.
Golf GTI
This Golf GTI came in for long-term structural preservation. We media blasted the chassis back to clean metal, treated corrosion at source, and applied durable protective coatings to help safeguard the underside for years to come.
